The Green Bay Packers are the NFL's smallest-market team and its only community-owned franchise, with shares held by hundreds of thousands of fans and no single majority owner. Founded in 1919 by Curly Lambeau and George Calhoun, the Packers joined the league in 1921 and play at Lambeau Field, the NFL's longest continuously used stadium. They compete in the NFC North with the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay holds the record for most league championships, a legacy built across several eras.
