How our boxing picks work
Each pick is the moneyline favorite: the fighter the sportsbooks we compare price as more likely to win. Boxing prices can swing on a missed weight or a late change of opponent, so we show the price we published next to the best price now. We are building our own ratings, and once they are live we will post a pick only when our number differs from the market by a set margin.
How to read boxing odds
Moneyline. You bet on the winner, however the fight ends. As of Nov 1, 1:12 AM ET Price L. is -2500 against Kotaskova M.: you risk $2,500 to win $100, about a 96% implied chance. A $100 bet on Kotaskova M. at +1175 wins $1,175.
Method of victory. A method-of-victory bet picks how the fight ends: by KO or TKO, or on the judges' scorecards. It pays more than the moneyline because you have to get both the winner and the finish right.
Rounds. Round totals ask whether the fight lasts past a set point. Boxing rounds are three minutes, so Over 9.5 rounds wins if the fight goes past 1:30 of round 10.
Draws. A boxing match can end in a draw. On a two-way moneyline, a draw is usually graded as no action and stakes are returned; some books also price the draw as its own bet.
Why the price matters
When both sides of a bet are -110, each implies 52.4%, so together they add up to 104.8%. That extra 4.8% is the sportsbook's built-in margin, also called the vig or juice, and it is why you need to win 52.4% of bets at -110 just to break even.
Fight prices can differ from book to book, so compare before you bet. As of Nov 1, 1:12 AM ET, Hutchinson W. is -115 at Bovada and -125 at BetUS: to win $100 you risk $115 at one and $125 at the other.
How we track our record
Every pick is published before the opening bell, with its publish time, and is never edited. After the fight it is graded won, lost or push. Losing picks stay on this page and in the record. The record starts October 8, 2026, and counts every pick published since then.
Boxing picks FAQ
What happens if the fight is a draw?
The pick isn't graded as a win or a loss, so a draw doesn't change the record.
What happens if a fight is canceled?
The pick isn't graded, so it counts as neither a win nor a loss in the record.
What does method of victory mean?
How the fight ends: KO or TKO, or a decision on the judges' scorecards. Our picks are on the moneyline only, which pays however the fight ends.
When are boxing picks posted?
Once one of the four sportsbooks we compare posts a moneyline for the fight, and always before the opening bell.
