Indiana Pacers play in the Eastern Central.
Indiana Pacers overview
The Indiana Pacers play in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, in a state where basketball is woven into everyday life. The Pacers were an ABA dynasty, won three ABA titles, and have reached the NBA Finals twice, most recently in 2025 when they took Oklahoma City to Game 7. For bettors, Indiana is a smaller market that rarely draws inflated public money, so its lines are typically efficient but can lag behind a change in pace or rotation. Recent Pacers teams have played an up-tempo style, which matters for totals, but the market adjusts quickly once tempo trends are established.
Betting insights
Indiana's pace has been a key factor for totals in recent seasons, as up-tempo play creates more possessions and can push scoring higher. The market typically accounts for this quickly, so look for spots where pace context changes, such as injuries to key ball handlers or matchups against slower teams. The Pacers' small-market status means limited public money, so lines are mostly driven by sharper action. Central Division opponents are close, and familiarity can produce tight spreads. Watch injury news closely, as the Pacers' playmaking depth has been tested by injuries.
