Los Angeles Dodgers play in the NL West.

Los Angeles Dodgers overview

The Los Angeles Dodgers play in the National League West at Dodger Stadium, the largest ballpark in MLB by capacity. The Dodgers have won nine World Series titles, including back-to-back championships in 2024 and 2025 that made them the first repeat champions since the 1998 to 2000 Yankees. With one of the largest payrolls and fan bases in baseball, the Dodgers are frequently heavy favorites, which creates a different set of betting decisions than most teams present. Laying big moneyline prices, using the run line, or betting against the public team are all questions bettors face regularly when the Dodgers are on the board.

Betting insights

Dodgers games often feature steep moneyline prices, so bettors commonly look at the run line, alternate lines or first five innings markets to find more manageable odds. The tradeoff is that a run line bet requires a margin of two or more runs, and even strong teams lose and win by one run frequently. Public money is a constant factor; Dodgers series on national TV attract significant recreational action, which can shade prices against them. Dodger Stadium has historically been pitcher-friendly, especially on cool marine-layer nights, but it has allowed more home runs in recent seasons than its old reputation suggests, so recent data deserves more weight.
